1. A passion for outdoor activities like skiing, snowboarding, nordic skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and climbing. If you have a passion for any or all of these activities you would probably enjoy working at Wilson's.
2. A valid working Visa and the freedom to commit to at least a 6 month contract. It is of course preferable if you can commit to a 1 year or more work term, but the minimum is 6 months starting in either October or May. We do have some Summer jobs from May to September (you need to be able to work until the Labor Day weekend.
3. An education. You must have completed high school. University graduates with a valid working Visa work out terrifically for a 1 year commitment. Your degree is definitely an asset and we have found that employees with degrees really get a great deal out of their experience working in Lake Louise. If you are under 25 with a degree you can usually get a one year working visa quite easily by applying early in the year. You can put in your application by e-mail at wmsll@telusplanet.net.
4. Minimum 2 working references who can give a solid referral. You must have worked for or with the person you are using for a reference.
5. Work Experience:
* a) Outdoor retail experience in customer experience is a great asset but not mandatory.
* b) General Customer Service Experience where you have worked in sales and customer service.
* c) Good organizational skills
* d) Proven Attitude and Outgoing personality.
* We have a very high regard for people who have done volunteer work, been involved in extra curricular activities and generally are prepared to get involved.
